MLK Day of Service - Jan 21 - Join Us and Serve

In the spirit of community service and in conjunction with MLK National Day of Service, St. James is participating with the Eufaula Barbour County Chamber which is hosting its Annual MLK Day of Service. Volunteers all over town will assist local organizations which include the Eufaula Day Care, Lake Eufaula Boys & Girls Clubs, Eufaula City Schools, Twelve Stones CDC and many others.

St. James is focusing on helping at Eufaula Day Care and the Barbour County Humane Society. Our support at Eufaula Day Care will be working on their playground. They have recently used United Way funds to fence the playground and make improvements in the equipment; however, much of it needs to be painted. At the Humane Society there are number of things needing repairs so we could use some carpentry skills. We hope you will consider volunteering your time and improving Eufaula-Barbour County.

All projects will be carried out on Monday, January 21, 2019, between 8:00 am and 11:30 am. Please let Brad Moore (334-750-7824) know if you can assist with either of the MLK Day volunteer projects. Even if you can only come out for an hour or two it will be greatly appreciated.
